Our Flexible Learning Approach
May Be The Right Choice For You
You would like a career in massage therapy, but a full time on-campus schedule is not right for you due to other commitments. You are currently employed, a student or have an otherwise busy lifestyle. You are unable to relocate. Our flexible learning approach combines distance learning with regular in-class tutorials. You will work through directed readings and specific content on your own and receive credit for those hours spent away from class. Email and fax and telephone access are always available to reach our instructors. Written testing and hands on skills will dominate the in-class section of the course. This way the students will know how they are progressing, and to identify areas where the class or an individual student needs more guidance.
Graduating students will be tracked to assess their employment success and how well the course prepared them for their professional responsibilities. We analyze all comments seriously to review and revise the course as needed.

Enter Directly Into Our Second Year
More and more therapists are required to have 2200 hours of education. If you are now practicing we can bring you up to speed allowing you to enter our second year and get 2200 hours, the generally recognized standard across Canada. The fact that you are practicing now is actually a plus as you will be able to incorporate the new knowledge as you learn it. In September you will join our Massage Therapy Diploma program which is 44 weeks in length and required to be in class for 11 weekends. There will be a home study portion as well as online support, as well as Instructor availability, to insure your success.
We pride ourselves in being able to teach people to work. We are unique in that every individual in our academic department including the principal has many years of experience in the private practice.
