Student Finance All programs offered are eligible for student funding.
Bursary Below are the criteria that any student applying for this bursary, must meet.
$500 payable, to one graduate each year, from each high school in Alberta.Funds provided as a Bursary to a student who demonstrates financial need, and not awarded as a scholarship to the highest academic student. Awarded to a student who is pursuing a program at Alberta Massage Training. A student who can demonstrate they have been a positive influence on the school community, have made a positive contribution to the community in which they live, and have demonstrated a commitment to their education. Biology 30 would be an asset but not necessary. The administration at the school the student graduates from is requested to select a student to receive this Bursary, based on the following criteria.1) A Student pursuing a program at Alberta Massage Training. A student entering a program at Alberta Massage Training, no later than 7 months after graduation from high school. 2) A Student demonstrating a financial need. 3) A Student demonstrating a positive influence on the school community. 4) Student demonstrating a commitment to their education. Student Loans
Loans to the applicant are assessed and based on individual financial need and is intended to supplement the student’s income, not to replace other financial assistance. Applications forms, paper or online, are available and should be completed as early as possible to allow for sufficient processing time prior to the start of class. There is generally a waiting period of 4-6 weeks between the date of the application and when the loan money becomes available, and students should plan their finances accordingly.
Student Grants
You may be eligible for an Alberta works grant. Grants funding is also available to Employment Insurance (EI) recipients as well as those who do not qualify for EI benefits. If you are approved for a training grant, please be advised that it can take 8-10 weeks for processing.
